In May 2005, Psychiatric
Solutions, Inc. (PSI) became National Clinical Affiliate for
The Jason
Foundation, Inc. (JFI). The Jason Foundation is a nationally
recognized leader in educational programs for the awareness and
prevention of youth suicide, which is currently the third leading
cause of death among youth ages 15-24.
The affiliation between PSI and JFI creates a national network that
provides programs and seminars about suicide awareness and
prevention for students, educators, youth workers and parents.
These programs help provide individuals with the information, tools
and resources they need to assist in identifying at-risk youth and
finding them help within their communities. By affiliating with
PSI, JFI is now the only national educational prevention program
with 24/7 clinical backup.
