Family Involvement

Addictions, mood disorders and trauma recovery are issues that affect the entire family. It is our hope that as you begin your recovery at our treatment center, your family will also enter the healing process. Anyone who loves and supports a patient in treatment is "part of the family".

At Wekiva Springs Center the physicians conduct weekly treatment team meetings and encourage family presence and involvement especially with discharge planning.  The clinicians will provide a family session with a focus on discharge, setting limits and boundaries, and preparing for risk and safety for the patient.   

During the treatment process, both patient and family members receive recommendations for aftercare based on their individual needs.
