Our Programs
Detoxification Services
Wekiva Springs offers detoxification services for patients who are
chemically dependent. Our certified Addictionologist and highly
specialized nursing staff oversee our medical detoxification
programs which are designed to provide our patients with
a safe, comfortable transition through the withdrawal process.
Residential
Programs
Wekiva Springs is a fully licensed residential treatment program
that is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of
Healthcare Organizations. Wekiva Springs specializes in the
treatment of addictions, eating disorders, trauma recovery,
depression, anxiety and other mood disorders. Our residential
program provides comprehensive, individualized treatment based on
proven cognitive-behavioral and 12-Step philosophies.
Individualized treatment plans are formulated by our
Multidisciplinary Treatment Team to promote your successful
long-term recovery based on your specific needs.
In the secluded, safe environment of our peaceful, tree-shaded
surroundings on our Jacksonville, Florida campus, Wekiva Springs
provides a confidential atmosphere of hope and healing for you and
your family.
Intensive
Outpatient Programs
Wekiva Springs’s Intensive Outpatient Program is designed to
meet the needs of men and women who usually function at a
relatively effective level, but are experiencing problems that
interfere with their daily lives and affect their family, work,
academic pursuits, or interpersonal relationships. As the patient
remains in contact with the stressful situations contributing to
the dysfunction, the Intensive Outpatient Program provides the
opportunity for those issues to be addressed on a day-to-day basis
as they occur.
Wekiva Springs’ Intensive Outpatient Program is intended
for people whose issues require a level of intensity which
cannot be met in the traditional outpatient services setting, but
do not warrant the structure, and security of a residential
setting.
This intensive level of care also allows adults and
adolescents transition from a residential setting to their home
environment to continue in their recovery process.
Our Intensive Outpatient Program meets four evenings a week, for
three hours each session. Length of treatment varies based on
individual needs.
Acute
Services
Wekiva Springs offers a highly structured adult psychiatric program
that utilizes a medical model of treatment. For many people dealing
with complicated medical and psychological problems, acute services
offer an opportunity for our medical staff to more closely and
appropriately monitor the patient and her condition. This step can
be a critical component to insure that you have the foundation you
need to continue to our residential or intensive outpatient
programs. Acute services are designed to provide the highest level
of direct patient care, and include physical, social, spiritual,
medical and psychotherapeutic treatment interventions.
