in the treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance

client with the utmost confidentiality in a secluded setting. The
gender specific unit will afford men the opportunity to obtain

treatment related issues. Gender specific treatment will focus on
relationships, communication and anger management.
Our approach to treatment is individualized, multifaceted and
multidisciplinary. Assessments will include comprehensive medical,
psychiatric and social evaluations. The assessments will provide a
plan to promote mental wellness and recovery. Interventions may
include crisis intervention, group therapy, family discharge
sessions, nutritional education, medication management and
Wekiva Springs provides both a mental health and a chemical
dependency program. The chemical dependency program uses
Recovery Dynamics (Nationally Accredited 12 step model).

after the acute/detoxification phase has been completed. The
mental health topics include conflict resolution, addressing
cognitive distortions, guilt and shame, assertiveness, healthy
relationships, and a variety of other related topics.
