Professional
Collaboration:
At Wekiva Springs in Jacksonville, Florida we value our
relationships with referring professionals, and understand that
open communication is vital to a patient’s successful transition
between providers. When you refer a patient to Wekiva Springs
outpatient program or inpatient care, it is our commitment to keep
you involved in the patient’s treatment, and to work together with
you to ensure proper continuity of care. Our multidisciplinary team
approach includes not only our clinical staff, but you as an
important member of the team. This highly collaborative process is
the cornerstone of treatment at Wekiva Springs.
Throughout the patient’s treatment stay, we will be happy to
provide you with feedback as frequently as you desire and in
whatever form is most convenient for you. In addition, you will
have the option of participating in the treatment team meetings via
telephone, should you so desire. Our unique approach to ongoing
treatment planning also involves the patient as an important member
of the team, and thus the patient is invited to participate in
these meetings as well.
Aftercare Planning:
As a continuation of this collaborative process, we are committed
to including referring professionals in all aspects of aftercare
planning and value any recommendations that you may have. If at any
time during the treatment process you require additional
information, our administrative team is available to ensure that
your needs are met.
Admissions:
Our Admissions staff is available 24 hours a day to answer any
questions that you or your client may have. In addition, the
admissions consultants will be happy to assist you and your client
in navigating the insurance process, beginning with verification of
benefits. We will then be able to provide you with a realistic
picture of what insurance may or may not cover. For more

Professional Referral
Network:
Our successful partnership with referring professionals has
resulted in a comprehensive referral database, which our clinicians
access when making referrals for those patients who may not have a
prior relationship with clinicians in their area. In addition, this
database is accessed daily by our Admissions team, who frequently
provide referrals over the phone. It is our goal to also serve as a
resource to physicians, therapists, hospitals, and other treatment
providers who may be looking for specific services for their
clients.
If you would like to be added to our Professional Resource
database, you may do so by contacting the Admissions Department
directly, or by submitting your information via the attached secure
online form. You will then be contacted by one of our Marketing and
Business Development Representatives for further information.
